Strengthening ECD Coordination in Kigoma Region
Over 126 ECD actors in Kigoma had been working in silos. BAKAID mapped them with the Regional Secretariat, TECDEN, UNICEF, THPS, NCA and Pact Tanzania, leading to a Regional ECD Coordination Platform that brings together government, day care providers, paralegals, community health workers, media and civil society.
“Before this effort, we worked separately. Now, we speak with one voice for the wellbeing of our children.”
— Social Welfare Officer, Kibondo District
